A Walk To Remember

I am a Christian woman just trying to live the best I can in this life the Lord has given me. Born and raised in a Christian home, I became a Christian when I was 5 years old. Only now am I starting to search for the path that God wants me to take. It is a constant learning experience, growing in God's grace. I hope my words can inspire others, and warm their hearts and souls.

I grew up in a Christian home and am the youngest of two girls. I believe that God has each day of my life written down in his book and that if I would only turn to him he would show me his plan for my life.

10 Simple Pleasures

It appears I was caught in a friendly game of tag by Amber,my first one, so here it goes. These are 10 simple pleasures that I love:

  1. Driving in my car on a hot summer day with the windows open, letting the breeze flow through the car.
  2. Tickeling Alexander and watching him giggle with glee
  3. Big family get togethers at my Grandma's house. I love my family.
  4. I love the smell of puppy's breath. (gross, I know)
  5. Going fishing with my Dad, just sitting in the warm sun all day.
  6. Romantic dinners with my husband.
  7. Snuggling under a cozy blanket in winter and curling up with a good book.
  8. SINGING! I LOVE SINGING!
  9. Eating an ice cream cone on a hot summer day.
  10. last but not least, the smell of freshly mowed grass.

I am sure that there are tonnes more that I could write about but these were the first that came to my head.

TAG Mom, You're it.

First Attempt at a picture

Well this is my first attempt at posting a picture on my blog. I am an amateur at the computer so here goes nothing.

This is my baby boy Alexander. I love him to pieces. Isn't he the cutest little baby you have ever seen? Not that I am biased or anything. He is really getting a personality of his own now. He is testing me. Whenever I say "no", he looks at me and continues what he is doing as if he doesn't know what the word means. Before when we would say "no", he would listen and turn away from what he was doing. Or if it was something that he really wanted to do and we said "no", then he would get a pouty lip and cry. Not anymore *lol* I can't believe how sick of the word "no" I am getting. I still love him just as much though! What's not to love.

When we are in public he is the perfect little gentleman. He usually doesn't get cranky when he is around people. Only at home when he is with me by himself. Then he can be moody sometimes.

Long time no Blog......

Well it’s been awhile since I have written anything so I thought I better get at it again.

Today is Good Friday as you know but what you didn’t know is that it truly has been a "Good" Friday for me. The sun is shining outside, the birds are singing. I actually got to do some yard work today which is usually unheard of this time of year in Manitoba! It has been a great day visiting with my mom, and just spending time with my husband and 8 month old son. I have been so very blessed in my life to have been brought up with the family that I have. Not only my parents and sister, but also my aunts and uncles and cousins as well. We are such a close knit family who care very much for each other and would do anything for one another. God is good!! I just wanted to say to my family who is reading this, that I love you all so so much, and thank you so very much for being who you are. I hope God is with you all this Easter weekend. Come visit real soon OK!! (I don't mean my blog either)
